The restaurant facility at Oriel is managed by Catering Academy. Should parents wish to find out what their child is eating and how much they spend each day in the restaurant, please e-mail Catering Academy directly OrielHighSchool@catering-academy.co.uk or telephone 01293 881979.
Oriel operates a biometric system for our restaurant. Students can top their balance up at the cash loader machine in the restaurant using notes or coins. Cheques can also be paid to direct to ‘Catering Academy’ . Cheque balances are ready to spend the following day by the student. Parents can also post cheques direct to Catering Academy at the school.

After the October half term the current catering provider, Catering Academy, will be updating their cashless payment system. They have opted for a biometric system. These biometric systems have become more common across schools in England in recent years. The new facility will link in with existing school IT systems and will for the first time enable parents to credit their son/daughters lunch account via an online payment, ParentPay. Parents/Carers will have received letters from the school about activating their ParentPay account during November.
https://www.parentpay.com/ Here you will be able to login to your ParentPay account and top up funds for your son/daughters account.
