Spring term 2018 revision & Summer term exam timetable – Information for Students & Parents
Following the completion of our Year 11 students’ Pre-Public Examinations and the recent release of PPE results we now move into a crucial phase of learning, consolidation and revision before the terminal summer GCSE Examinations in May and June 2018.
Please find the attached revision timetable. The timetable has been designed to provide multiple sessions for each subject to allow students to plan their revision minimising the number of potential clashes and conflicts of priority.
This year, sessions will be mostly of a ‘clinic’ style where students will be able to direct their own learning, identifying the aspects of a subject that they need to complete further work on and receive personalised support and guidance.
Through these sessions teachers will, for example, be available to provide support with specific examination questions from past papers, explain content identified as a weakness or provide further practice on a specific skill or topic area.
We look forward to seeing all of our Y11 students take maximum advantage of these revision opportunities.
If you have any questions regarding Year 11 revision, please contact your son/daughter’s learning mentor or subject teachers in the first instance. Y11 Revision Timetable 2018 FINAL
This is the timetable for the Summer 2018 examinations. Please note, dates/times may be subject to change. Please bear this in mind when looking to arrange any time off for your student as we cannot guarantee that the dates given are final. It is important that all students attend all their timetabled examinations.
Each student will be given an individual timetable closer to the start of the season.
