Exam results

We are delighted with our first set of GCSE results. There are many outstanding results and approximately 60% of students have achieved 5 A*-C passes. What is most pleasing is that students of all abilities have achieved their potential.

Eight students achieved an amazing 12 GCSE passes with 10 A* / A grade passes, including Hannah Tullet with 10A*s, 2As; Robyn Cooper with 9A*s, 4As and Lucy Marriot 8 A*s, 4As, to name a few. Lucy also achieved one of the highest marks for RE (in the top 10 in the country for GCSE RE).

As a truly comprehensive School we cater for students of all abilities and it is really to encouraging to see that 98% gained at least one GCSE, 94% achieved 5A*-G GCSE passes and 93% achieved a level 1 qualification in English and Mathematics.

These results are a culmination of 4 years hard work by staff, students and parents. They are a strong basis on which to improve further in the years ahead.

Our new Sixth Form opened in September and we have received a tremendous vote of confidence from our Year 11, with approximately 130 students having taken up post 16 courses with us. We look forward to our students receiving their first set of AS grades.
